Pro-Political Party Protests in Candro

Recently there have been many protests throughout Candro for the allowance of political parties. The disbandment of political parties was a decision made by the previous King Jon Candro in 1985. When Naple came to power in 2000 he made no move to change this. Many prominent politicians have gone out in support of political parties being reinstated in Candro. This includes many tribal officials who wish to be allowed to have political parties to represent their tribe.

When asked by reporters Naple said "I believe that political parties should be put back in Candro but they need to have regulations first we can't have anyone forming a political party and demanding they be recognized as one; I am discussing with some trusted politicians to make this happen".

It is unclear wether Naple is doing this because of public pressure or because he really thinks that political parties be allowed. Given what Naple said it is very likely that the ban on political parties will be lifted. Could this mean a resurgence in pro-democratic values? Only time will tell.
