What Kvestoslav Wants You To See

The ''democratic'' republic of Kvetoslav, a nation most know for vodka and communism extremist, people outside of Kvetoslav see the country as a joke, but when in reality, its a threat to the region and nearby countries, the failed invasion of Nosiland is proof of it, people inside of Kvetoslav live scared, in fear by the authoritarian regime of dictator since 1992 Rafikov Yuliy Yakovich, wich reintroduced communism to the country since 1972. Local propaganda against nearby countries like Nosiland, LMI, Transevanic republics, Candro, and ''capitalist pigs'' AKA non-communist or pro-Russian is used to manipulating civilians into believing they are living in a better place. the army holds frequent military parades ''to be proud of being Kvets'' but in reality is to impose fear and respect to the civilians, unfinished and abandoned buildings can be found all around the nation, ghost towns as well can be found.

Kvetoslav is one of the most corrupt and unstable nation on the RIA facing two coups in one year, one managed to kick Rafikov Yuliy Yakovich from power to be replaced by a federation, but everything kept the same, the new government lasted short due to the son Zakryatin Radoslav Yakovich launching the second coup of the year, restoring Rarikov to power. Internet is almost banned, no individual can own a private computer, all computers need to be accessed from state-owned internet cafes, all computers monitored 24/7 TV and radio are also state-owned, illegal broadcasting channels are chased down and shut down within days, salaries are the worst in the area, 40.000 rubles per month, or 200E, all Kvet made products are extremely cheap and from horrible quality, imported products are overpriced. there is no public healthcare system or good quality doctors, 24% of the spendings goes to the military, exceeding the recommended 2% by the WA corruption is high, with many millions of rubles intended for public upgrades and works, like road, education, buildings, departments disappear with no reason, an anonymous citizen claimed that the apartments where he was living were unfinished and undeveloped. The constructors had a budget of 10.000.000 dollars, only 1.000.000 was spent.

What Kvetoslav Does Not Want You to See

The regime violently cracks down any protesters, bloggers, or journalist challenging the Regime, sometimes, getting killed. Kvetoslav tourist program is heavily controlled by the state, non-communist or pro-Russians need a mandatory guide, they can't take photos freely, they can't buy anything in non-tourist shops, they can interact with normal Kvets, their devices are monitored 24/7 Lerin Van Dofel, a Nosilander unhappy with his high school, went to study in Kvetoslav as an exchange student, to tell us the life of a Kvet student.

"Kvet government did not give me a place to stay, I had to rent a 100E per month apartment. Classes were extremely easy and low quality, most of the subjects were about history and structure of the country and communism. The only materials carried by Kvets were a pencil and pen, no more, all wearing a 70's style school uniform common in communist nations. There is a 20-minute rest, but most of the Kvets were just eating, not talking or interacting with others. After class, some of them go to their houses via bus or walking, very few go to other places to hang around, in the street, passing police and military vehicles is not rare, all corners of the city covered in propaganda, many of them with burned of broken Nosiland, Candro, LMI, and Transevanic flags, as I student, I was given 50E per week by the Nosiland government and 150 per month by the Kvet government so I could buy food and basic stuff. So the Kvet just gave me to the rent and for very bad quality food. This meat cost me 0.5E and last for one day, this drink 2E last for one day, the bread 3E, last for 5 days, this lettuce 2E, one tomato 0.2E, everything is extremely cheap here!"
