Saxonian Embassy in Usniya to Be Downgraded as Relations Cool

At the Usniyan Embassy Complex in Vlastiyavek, officials from the Usniyan Foreign Affairs Administration have announced intentions to move the embassy of the Stratocratic Duchy of The Lowlands and Saxony to a smaller office. Currently, they occupy one of the largest offices in the complex, a symbol of the two nations' once-close alliance. However, relations have suffered a great deal of damage over the past months.

The fallout between Usniya and Saxony began with the controversial disbandment of the BonLuk Pact, a motion that Usniya only reluctantly agreed to. Since then, as the Usniyan Foreign Ministry claims: "The Saxonians have continually called into question the ties that allowed for the pact to be formed in the first place." The biggest blow to their relations came in the aftermath of the bombing of the Flowrisan capital of Constantinople, which nearly killed Emperor Ian I Van Gilze-Rijen, the Flowrisan Emperor closely related to the Saxonian Royal Family. The attack was found to be performed by the Saxonian mercenary group Dent Tactical, however the Saxonian Government refused to put in place any restrictions on their activities, an action which Usniya had strongly pushed for.

After a recent meeting, Prime Administrator Kastlotkv has announced plans to amend relations between Usniya and the Kingdom of Candro. Where these developments leave Saxony is anyone's guess.
