Ahmerti archeologists
have unearthed ruins in a mountain valley near Ehmtahn after hearing rumors from various sources. So far foundations to an entire building with enclosure walls and towers has been excavated. The building is built into the mountain with a sealed door which was opened today is on raised platform extending from the carved wall. There are three skeletons laying in front of the door. One of them has three holes in the skull and has a strange amulet around its neck. There are arrowheads embedded in the skulls of the other two. Archeologists are currently mapping and exploring the ruin. So far there is a vast gallery stairway at a 20 degree incline that extends 300 feet into the mountain.
At the end of this hall is an antechamber leading to a much larger chamber with six rows of columns with a raised platform in the center extending from the antechamber doorway to another, higher raised platform with a marble altar flanked by the rows of columns on both sides. There are three 14 foot solid bronze idols of the Mother, Father, Child behind the altar on a shelf carved into the rock behind the altar. We have also found inscriptions in an older dialect of Urtah, but translations are showing this is a temple complex devoted to the Gods. Archeologists are also finding whole dynastic king lists spanning back 2,000 years pushing our understanding of our history to new bounds. Everyone involved has taken to calling this site 'The Sanctuary of Kings.' Archeologists have found two more sealed doors on opposite sides of the room one on the left of the altar and one on the right of the altar the assumption is that one of them may lead to catacombs but scans will take place before opening the doors.
