Meet the Renegades: The Mostly Peaceful Nation of Oxihydronia

Oxihydronia is a technologically advanced nation that remains dedicated to people having choice in their lifestyles. Particularly when it comes to technological abilities and accessibility.

What is the first thing one would see/hear when first arriving to Oxihydronia?

After leaving whatever port you came in from, you'd probably see many open markets and busy townspeople. The legal drinking age in the nation is 14 years old. As you move in through the towns, they appear to get more technologically advanced. It is not because of a difference in money but in lifestyle. People choose how they want to live, so each town is a bit different than the last. The center of the mainland is the most technologically advanced, so it is likely that tourists will start there when visiting. Oxihydronia prides itself in the openness and acceptance between its people and its many lush forests. Visiting an island will likely be more of a resort getaway or an opportunity to find out more about the religions of the nation. While Oxihydronia itself doesn't have it's own religion (not yet anyway), it has adopted two religions from other nations: Kittehism and Pi'as a-Da'urun. Kittehism is not as widely practiced as it used to be since the religion's founding nation ceased to exist. Pi'as a-Da'urun was adopted from Kzaria and is currently the most practiced religion in Oxihydronia.

Tell me more about Oxihydronia.

The nation boasts many underground cities and towns that thrive in darkness, to the extent that some of the plants have evolved and adapted to bioluminescence. And trees have begun to produce glowing leaves. The areas resemble most modern towns but have more residential areas than usual. As some live in darkness, others live in the light. These nations focus on living the lifestyle of their choice, but with the opportunity to dip into another lifestyle and experience and learn.

For instance, the education system allows each of the different sectors of the nation to mingle in a sense. Students from a primitive area where modern technology is rare, though there are not any settlements like this in the country, (for example, from a lifestyle of no electricity, running water, modern conveniences) would be able to freely train and study in the most advanced technological areas of Oxihydronia (for example, from a lifestyle of luxury and superior modern technology). There are three major cities which have the most access to technology and have the most powerful technological knowledge in the nation. And this works for all students in the education system - they may choose what and how they learn - education is encouraged. If a sector wishes to enhance their systems and desire to become more advanced, other sectors are ready to help with the transition and the training.

The people of Oxihydronia are kind and helpful, with hearts to help one another in times of need. They are free to live as they please and they are encouraged to learn more about everything. There will be much more to come from Oxihydronia and the RIA is looking toward to understand more about this wonderfully bright nation.
