Bremen Banking Group Ties To The Underworld Exposed In Diplomatic Cable Leaks

The Independent (Weekly) Magazine

People around the world are furious after correspondence between the "mega-fund" Bremen Banking Group, based in the Bremen SEZ of the Special Economic Zone of Dent Tactical and the Alhurriati government were leaked by a confidential source. The leaks detail the United Kingdom's fruitless attempt to secure the return of 5,000,000,000 dinars belonging to the Jia Cartel and the BBG's unwillingness to investigate possible money laundering for drug and human trafficking as well as terrorism finance going on beyond its borders. Hundreds of citizens have gathered outside of their Alhurriati Headquarters and are demanding their expulsion from the Kingdom.

Senior Economic Correspondent at the ANN Samir Musrani claims "this bombshell of a revelation shows how the Bremen Banking Group willfully turns a blind eye to how customers acquire their money."

This is all coming on the heels of the now-famous raid that led to the successful decapitation of the Jia cartel leadership. It is during this raid that documents were found linking the cartel to offshore accounts in the Dent Tactical Economic Zone. The classified cable sent by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Jumia explains that "It is during this raid that we discovered documents detailing a money-laundering ring operating within your banks."

The Honourable Minister humbly requests the immediate "release" of "these funds, totaling 5,000,000,000 Alhurriati Dinars" in addition to calling for a domestic investigation "as soon as possible." "We are rather strict on our policy concerning the sharing of information of companies in our Special Economic Zone." The shadowy BBG CFO Karl Mückensieb responded. He went on further to add "This is one of the reasons why we flourish as a regional center for business and we pride ourselves on this level of integrity."

When the infamous Dent Tactical Corporation got its own city-state more than eyebrows were raised in Halls of power and amongst intelligence circles around the world. A prominent Human Rights lawyer who is compiling a case against Dent Tactical chose to stay anonymous when telling us "allegations of torture, use of chemical weapons, human rights abuses and criminal operations have been raised against the Private Military outfit. They need more oversight not less."

When asked what the BBG has to say of the allegations that the Bank and City State are a go-to destination for terror finance and money laundering Mr. Karl Mückensieb had this to say "It is unfortunate that these allegations are made, for this is a legitimate and secure bank. For business, mind you. A possible misunderstanding is potentially leading to an international crisis, with the government of Alhurriat Wassalam to blame. Our communications started off with a government representative demanding a transaction based on some investigation. This, of course, can not do. We are priced for our level of data security and will not under any circumstance share information of our clients to any party that does not belong to our government or the client.
